The Opportunity:
Put your expertise of tax knowledge and experience to work by joining our premier group of seasonal Tax Advisors. You will have the opportunity to answer customers tax questions by using your tax knowledge, and customers will know their taxes are done right.
Join a select network of passionate tax advisors to answer customers tax questions.
Leverage your excellent communication skills in answering tax questions.
Work flexible hours from your home (30 - 40 hrs/wk preferred).
No upselling or cross-selling - just advice!
The Rewards:
Competitive salary, and in addition this position offers retention bonuses with potential bonus payout up to $1,500.

Responsibilities:
This is a Work from Home seasonal customer facing position providing in-depth tax advice.
Advisors will support TurboTax customers via incoming phone calls and online chat (no up-selling, or tax promotions).
Provide written summaries of solutions to customers by email.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime as business requires.
Qualifications:
Experience preparing a variety of personal federal and provincial tax returns(student, pension, self employed, rental property, investments, foreign income, etc) with education in Tax, Accounting, Business, Finance, or related fields.
Hands on experience preparing personal tax returns - prefer a minimum of 60 personal tax returns per year over the past 2 years.
Experience with one or more specific provincial forms as follows:
Quebec - Provincial return (TP1)
Ontario - Provincial forms (ON428 and ON479), and AgriStability and AgriInvest form (T1163)
Manitoba - Provincial forms (MB428 and MB479), and Harmonized AgriStability and AgriInvest form (T1273)
British Columbia - Provincial forms (BC428 and BC479)
Alberta - Provincial form (AB428), and AgriStability and AgriInvest form (T1163)
Atlantic (Newfoundland, New-Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island) - Statement of Fishing Activities (T2121)
Bilingual (English and French) is a plus
Experience using major tax preparation software and electronic filing a plus.
Ability to discuss complex tax topics and situations using excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in researching tax publications, and regulations, and providing appropriate advice.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
