This is pure vintage Canadiana arts and crafts. Created and signed by A. Nadoru in 1980, this unique, hand crafted copper relief depicts Canadian National steam locomotive 1055 passing in front of the original historic Charny railway station. It is an absolute certainty that this picture is one of kind and a prize to anyone interested in Canadian railway history, the local history of Charny itself, or as a special addition to someone’s collection of Canadiana folk art.
The relief is very well done on medium gauge copper sheeting and nicely mounted in an understated oak frame. It is 20 inches wide X 14 inches high and in very good condition.
